THE OK ORCHESTRA TOUR
The OK Orchestra Tour marked Station Six’s second collaboration with AJR, pushing the boundaries of interactivity and storytelling in live performance. This production showcased an array of innovative technical elements—including a custom 'Pivot Door'-style automated LED surface, an integrated treadmill, and immersive 3D and interactive screen visuals. The result was a seamless blend of music, narrative, and illusion that brought the band’s vision to life in a truly unforgettable way.

“ their OK Orchestra tour ... was the most theatrical concert I had ever seen.”

PROCESS
AJR Custom Band Set
Our screen content partner, Lightborne Studios, used LIDAR-based motion capture to scan Jack’s facial movements. That data became the foundation for the show’s intro visuals.
We knew we needed a transparent ROE Vanish LED screen positioned downstage of the performers, but it couldn’t remain there for the entire show. In amphitheaters, limited trim height ruled out flying the screen out or tracking it offstage. To solve this, we developed a custom “pivot door” system that allowed the screen to rotate and transform into the side walls of the performance space.
